• Have chosen energy suppliers that are on renewable energy tariff and ensure appliances and lighting are switched off when not in use.
• Encourage carpooling, public transport, or cycling to shoots where possible.
• Provide reusable water bottles and containers on set to discourage single-use plastics.
• Reduce paper printouts by Using digital call sheets, shot list and production documents.
• Use local locations that minimise travel distances for crew and equipment.
• Source eco-friendly catering options, focusing on local, seasonal and organic suppliers.
• Sourcing second hand / hiring of clothing, props and backgrounds wherever possible and choosing biodegradable / recyclable materials.
• Re-use hard drives from previous shoots.
• Use energy-efficient storage devices (e.g., SSDs over HDDs) that consume less power.
